The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
